The Impact Virtual Offices Have On Society

Throughout this year there has been a renewed popularity of topics such as sustainability, ecology, wellness, and mental health. A lot of this has to do with the fact that more influential people are talking about these issues and how they are working towards making a change in their own lives. And the fact of the matter is that the way we work and the workplace itself are also being examined closely to make them align with the modern mentality.

Take the classic office job for example: Workers typically start their day between 7:30 and 9, after commuting for an average of 26 minutes. They then spend 8 hours at the office, but on average they only actually work for 2 hours and 53 minutes. For lunch the typical american office worker will have a few slices of pepperoni pizza, a can of soda and a bag of candy for dessert. Another factor to consider is the amount of time a person spends sitting down at their office desk (5.4 hours), and how this is far from ideal.

When this typical workday is analyzed it is very easy to see that almost every activity can and should be improved in order to create healthier, more sustainable organizations. And in today’s hyperconnected world we have the technology to do something about it right now.

While there are a few solutions being discussed that will solve the traffic issue, such as self-driving cars and trucks, they are still very new and not yet entirely viable. One way to avoid traffic is to stop driving to the office completely and working remotely instead. You can easily set up a Virtual Office at an impressive office building and run your whole business from anywhere you choose. There is no need to hang out at a place for 8 hours anymore, you can have your calls and all your mail forwarded to your home office instead.

A virtual office space also gives you access to day offices and fully equipped conference rooms whenever you need them. Having a huge, outdated and mostly unused meeting room used to be a big waste of both space and money. With a virtual office you can choose the meeting room you need, whenever you need it.

These are just a few of the benefits that having a virtual office has over the traditional office. When you take advantage of the full capabilities of virtual office services you will find that your life will be vastly improved. You can spend more time with your family, spend less time in traffic, and invest in your mental and physical well being.

Just imagine how having happy, healthy, more balanced individuals can deeply impact society as a whole.
