Why Entrepreneurs Need Virtual Offices

Given the way technology has impacted the work place, it is no surprise that recent studies have concluded that in the US, around 26.2 million office jobs are performed outside of traditional offices. And that's probably a conservative estimate. Yay! That smells like freedom to me!

Studies have also suggested that almost twice that - a whopping fifty million workers, at least 40 percent of the entire working population - would be able to work from locations other than their office. All they need is a reliable Internet connection. And a progressive company to work with.

No one understands those statistics more than an entrepreneur. One of the factors that has spurred new business growth during an economic downturn is that so many alternatives exist - thanks to technology.

For instance, new business owners no longer must be burdened with financial costs that were typically necessary in the past. Costs for rent, furniture, decorators, lighting, equipment, staff, utilities and materials are all eliminated, because they are included in the virtual office environment.

If you're thinking virtual always means online, you'd be mistaken. For example, you get a respectable business address for mail and packages. You can also have a live receptionist greet clients and answer the phone. State of the art facilities include phone systems that forward calls to wherever you are.

But one of the best parts of some of these virtual office packages is that you can actually rent an office or conference room for as little as an hour at a time - at unbelievably low costs - like $10 to $25 for starters, right here at Davinci.
