Flex Hour Jobs Lets Employees Search Virtual Office Jobs for Free

LAS VEGAS—The competition is rising on the virtual office jobs front. VirtualVocations came out earlier this week saying it had joined the International Association of Employment Web Sites. Now, Flex Hour Jobs is announcing a new pricing model for employees that want to find telecommuting and flexible hour employees.

Flex Hour Jobs is relatively new to the virtual office jobs scene. It launched in 2010 with a mission to give people an opportunity to find jobs that fit into their lifestyles. Flex Hour Jobs offers virtual office job seekers free access to job listings, all of which are screened to make sure they are legitimate telecommuting gigs. All the jobs listed are vetted to make sure the work schedule accommodates the demands of single parents and caregivers or to older workers not quite ready to retire.

“Many of the positions are partial telecommuting, allowing employees to work from the office some of the days of the week, and work from home part of the week,” says Jacqueline Sloboda, founder of Flex Hour Jobs. “There is also less of a stigma about working from home and if a company focuses on what people actually deliver, telecommuting makes a great alternative.”

Employers can post their jobs on the site for $15 to $30 per job post. The price aims to give small businesses a more affordable way to hire the workers they need. Currently, Sloboda says, many businesses have very few options other than Craigslist and other non-employment type sites that allow businesses to list jobs openings.

Employer virtual office and telecommuting job posts run 60 days and candidates contact the employer directly. Flex Hour Jobs also offers a “maximum exposure” job post which highlights the Job on the Flex Hour Jobs Radio Show which airs several times weekly on Blog Talk Radio and Radio Ear Network in over 148 countries world-wide.
